Vippz is built as a Progressive Web App (PWA) which means it behaves exactly like a native app but you do not have to install the app through the app store of your (phone) provider/manufacturer. On iPhone you only need to add the home url of the app to your homecreen and the app is ready to use!

We do not allow you to send e-mailings through our system, so you need to use a platform which specializes in sending bulk e-mail to take care of that part.

We know some other guest list apps offer an 'offline feature' but we chose to not allow offline usage of the app, mainly because (in our opinion) the downsides of offline usuage do not compare to the advantages.
To keep things simple we've experienced quite some situations as guests to other events with the use of offline (not up-to-date synced) guest list apps. Second, because in our case all transactions are processed directly on the server, we do not have to store any data on local devices which is save and spares storage. Also, properly syncing a large database over multiple devices is very time consuming and issues a huge performance issue over the complete infrastructure (bandwidth, server load, device load, etc.).
Yes Vippz has the possibility to send e-tickets with a custom text to your guests. The e-mail contains a QR code which can be used to scan at the entrance of your event. The QR scanner is also built in the Vippz app, so you do not have to install any other app to make use of these powerful features.
